This is the latest episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of November 3, 2009 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul Music, news and commentary.

Our commentary this week focused on commentary about the meaning & situation behind the firing of Philadelphia radio show host Charlamange the God after his Beanie Siegel vs. Jay-Z interview segment in conjunction with how mainstream media in general does everything possible to keep folks working with them & beyond to stay ultra neutral on most everything along with some other things here and there.

We had an interview this week with Bronx, NY's talented independent Hip-Hop MC D. Dave (http://www.myspace.com/ddashdave).

We touched base on everything from how the music scene is in his home area of New York City, the "New" New York movement, his inspiriations, the importance of working with like minded others for success in business & other scenarios, upcoming music projects and other cool things.

There is a new episode of Black Agenda Report this week but no Direct EFX segement (did not recieve before show recording).

Podcast Summary

The syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast was founded by DJ Fusion (aka Mary Nichols) while she was still an undergraduate student at the Rutgers University - New Brunswick campus in 1998.

Along with co-host and business partner Jon Judah (who became part of the permanent staff in late 2003), the radio show has a strong focus on bringing a diverse mixture of Hip-Hop & Soul music (and Black Music in general) from all over the world to our listeners along with interviewing guests and bringing news to the multi-faceted Hip-Hop community.

From it's roots at Rutgers University Radio (WRSU 88.7 FM), the 3 hour radio friendly syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast mixshow has spread to the following internet radio stations and outlets (as of Sept. 2009):

The mission of the FuseBox Radio Broadcast since its beginnings when I was an undergraduate student at Rutgers University in 1998 has been to bring diverse Hip-Hop & Soul Music (and just Black Music in general - reggae, funk, jazz, disco, etc.) to the masses as well as quality commentary and interviews to our radio listeners, especially in this age of overall mulitiple "cookie cutter" and poorly overly corporate run radio stations (not all stations, mind you, but a lot). I am a radio mixshow DJ in my late 20s who also spins on various mixtapes and does various club and lounge events.
