This is the FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of July 23, 2008 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul music, news and commentary.
This week's commentary was on the "outing" of Florida Hip-Hop MC Rick Ross in regards to his former employment as a correctional officer and if that should even mean anything in the realm of Hip-Hop and "realness" (and if so why), some U.S. Presidential Election updates and more.
We also have interviews with independent Hip-Hop artists U.R.B.Z. of H.A.T.E. Klub and C.O.E Entertainment (http://www.myspace.com/urbzgna) and Myself (http://www.myspace.com/couturemusicwearinc) touching base on everything from the Hip-Hop music industry, to the 'hood, influences, plans for the future and more.
This week, we were not able to retrieve a new segment of Black Agenda Report before the show recording and Direct EFX (due to summer break).

The mission of the FuseBox Radio Broadcast since its beginnings when I was an undergraduate student at Rutgers University in 1998 has been to bring diverse Hip-Hop & Soul Music (and just Black Music in general - reggae, funk, jazz, disco, etc.) to the masses as well as quality commentary and interviews to our radio listeners, especially in this age of overall mulitiple "cookie cutter" and poorly overly corporate run radio stations (not all stations, mind you, but a lot).
I am a radio mixshow DJ in my late 20s who also spins on various mixtapes and does various club and lounge events.
